The candidates aren't so fortunate. They have a busy eight weeks of campaigning ahead of them. For instance, President and Mrs. Obama took off on Air Force One from Charlotte late this morning, headed to New Hampshire and Iowa. They'll finally end their first post-convention day with an overnight stop in Florida.
Fortunately, the president's travel plans didn't delay our own, although the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport was quite busy with thousands of conventioneers and journalists making their way home. Our colleagues in Charlotte were there to report on the departure of the first couple and all the others.
While the president doesn't have to worry about getting to the airport early, everyone else does. An email we got from U.S. Airways the other day advised us to arrive at the airport three hours before our scheduled flight, which we did.
Now, we wonder where we'll end up in 2016 when the conventions come around again. I might have a few suggestions of places I'd like to visit.
In the meantime, our many thanks to Manoj Shamdasani, who started working about a year ago to arrange our credentials for both conventions, all of our travel plans and our work place logistics in both Tampa and Charlotte.
To begin with that snapshot won't doe this specific casino shoe any rights you should notice the idea at a store to receive that splendor in the casino shoe. Once the light source sinks into that casino shoe they will truly twinkle.
