We've seen both the McCain and Obama campaigns reaching out to the young voters of America more in this presidential election than perhaps any other in history. The key word there is "voters." The candidates also seem to be getting their message, or at least their names and faces, across to an even younger audience. And I have an example to prove my point. I'm told my four-year-old goddaughter, Morgan, came home the other day, saw there was a message on the answering machine, and pushed play. Seconds later, she went yelling to her parents with excitement that John McCain had left them a message. Too bad she wasn't home when he called.
Here at the convention, they're also selling children's clothing, stuffed toys, and "Kids for McCain" campaign buttons.
