Greetings from St. Paul!

With the exception of our short weekend, Karin, Bill, and I will have been away from our homes for less than two weeks when the Republican National Convention comes to an end. But the presidential campaign can keep many members of the traveling media away from their family and friends for several more weeks, maybe even months, at a time. But the Xcel Energy Center, host of the RNC, is helping to put them in touch with their loved ones with a simple postcard, stamp included. It shows a nighttime picture of the arena and the GOP convention's logo as a postmark.
