Country first

Here are Karin's thoughts on the second day of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul.

The theme of the RNC this week is "Country First." And the focus tonight was on service -- particularly Sen. John McCain's service to our country. There's no arguing he's an American patriot and there was pride swelling through the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul -- an energy we hadn't seen here before. The pace is finally picking up here after a brief interuption by Gustav. And Republicans can finally put the party back into politics.
