After an electrying night for Democrats inside the Pepsi Center here in Denver, the site of their national convention will move to nearby INVESCO Field for the final night tonight. Barack Obama will go before a capacity crowd of more than 75,000 people to accept his party's nomination for president. I was on the floor last night as Obama made a surprise appearance on the stage of the Pepsi Center after his vice presidential nominee, Joe Biden, delivered his acceptance speech. You'll be able to watch Obama's speech live on 69-WFMZ and on WFMZ.com.
Security has been extremely tight here in Denver. It will become even moreso later today when the Secret Service orders a stretch of interstate highway adjacent to the stadium closed. That will force thousands of rush hour drivers to find another way to go.
Obama and Biden and their spouses will then go from Denver to western Pennsylvania on Friday to start a four-day bus tour of battleground states.
