Let's Go Fly A Kite

Today I witnessed one of the simple joys in life.  I was writing on the second floor with the balcony open when I saw a flash of pink.  I ignored it and kept writing. Then, I heard a lot of giggling.  I smiled, but went back to my work.  Then...the flash again.  "What is that thing?" I got up and walked out onto the balcony and leaned over the rail.  It almost hit me in the head.  The RCO kids had a kite.  They were squealing with delight until the kite caught in a tree.  Lee Jenkins went out to get video as Dave Harris helped  the kids get it down.  The group went outside of the complex to get more room to run. The neighborhood kids came out to join in.  I watched as they ran up and down with the kite fluttering in the wind.  Trust me, it was awesome.
